Guilford Braves AAU Baseball Completes Regular Season

The Guilford Braves 19-U AAU baseball team finished its regular season by playing a pair of games last week. On Aug. 2, Guilford took a 10-1 loss against the Stratford Spartans at Penders Field. The following day, the Braves dropped a 5-3 decision to the Flying Squirrels at Haddam-Killingworth High School. Head Coach Ryan Brockett’s team finished with a record of 5-3 on the regular season.

Earlier in the year, Guilford earned two wins versus the East Hartford Roadrunners (4-3 and 9-0), along with one win apiece over the Northern CT Mustangs (9-2), the Flying Squirrels (10-7), and the TCB Hammerheads (9-3). The Braves also took a 2-0 defeat to the Clinton Huskies during the early part of the campaign.
