Cougars Lose Lone Contest on the Week

The Shoreline Cougars 19-U AAU baseball team played one game in East Shore Travel League action last week. The Cougars had a road game against the TCB Hammerheads and lost by the final score of 4-1.

The Hammerheads got on the board early with a run in the bottom of the first inning and then added single runs in the second, third and fifth innings. The Cougars plated their only run of the game in the top of the fifth when Billy Crawford scored on an error. Cavan Burrell, Omar Osono, and Jackson Pray all had one hit for Shoreline. Carmelo Rosa, Sam Erskine and Alec Erskine shared the pitching duties in the contest.
