19-U Huskies Remain Undefeated; 15-U Sees a Mixture of Results

The 19-U Huskies grabbed three more wins last week to remain undefeated on the season. The victories moved Clinton’s record to 4-0.

On June 29, the Huskies faced off against the Northern CT Mustangs in a road doubleheader at East Granby High School. Clinton took the first game by a narrow 2-1 margin, and then won by the same 2-1 tally in the nightcap.

Three days later, the Huskies were back at home at the Indian River Complex where they took on the Stratford Spartans. Clinton ran away with the game and won by a 9-1 tally.

15-U

The 15-U Clinton Huskies AAU baseball team grabbed a win in four games in recent action in the East Shore Travel League. With these results, the Huskies’ record moved to 2-6 on the season.

On June 23, Clinton had a doubleheader versus Clubhouse Carolina at home at the Indian River Complex. The Huskies dropped both games of the doubleheader taking a 6-4 loss in the first contest. Then in the nightcap, Clinton took a 9-1 defeat.

On June 27, the Huskies played another doubleheader at home and came away with a split. Clinton went up against the CT Edge and grabbed an 8-3 win in the first game. In the second contest, the Huskies lost by a score of 3-1.
