Wisialowski Represents the Rams in Class S Swim Meet


Kyle Wisialowski represented Old Saybrook when he competed in the Class S Boys’ Swimming State Championship on March 11 at Wesleyan University. Wisialowski, a sophomore, finished sixth in the 100 butterfly and place ninth in the 200 freestyle at states.

Wisialowski timed in with a mark of 54.04 seconds for his sixth-place finish in the 100 butterfly, scoring 23 points for Old Saybrook. The sophomore improved upon his time of 54.98 from the Class S Trials that took place at the Cheshire Community Pool on March 9.

Also at the championship, Wisialowski took ninth place in the 200 freestyle by swimming a time of 1:52.08. Wisialowski, who scored 19 points with this performance, finished with a faster mark than his time of 1:53.70 from the trials. Overall, Wisialowski totaled 42 points to put Old Saybrook in 23rd place out of 32 teams in the Class S standings.
