Scott Places 1st in Épée for Guilford at Individual States

The Guilford fencing program turned in some superb showings at the Individual State Championships on March 9.

In the boys’ épée competition, Oscar Scott took first place on behalf of the Indians. For girls’ foil, Ella Stanley finished third, while Lindsey Smith placed sixth, and Isabelle Labelle came in seventh place. In girls’ sabre, Anna Angkatavanich finished sixth, Shayla Flynn took seventh, and Grace Beatty finished eighth for Guilford.
