02/03/2019 11:00 PMThe East Haven-Old Lyme-Old Saybrook-East Hampton-Morgan-Valley Regional boys’ ice hockey team took a 5-4 overtime loss against Hall-Southington at DiLungo Rink on Jan. 31. The Yellowjackets now have a record of 6-7-1 on the season.
East Haven was down 4-1 midway through the second period, but battled back to force overtime, where Hall-Southington won it by scoring with 1:38 to play. Old Lyme junior Alec Speirs, Valley Regional senior Ricky Persico, East Haven sophomore Dave Amatruda, and Morgan sophomore Ryan Egan all scored goals in the loss for the Yellowjackets, who saw East Haven sophomore Chad Feola get an assist.
