01/27/2019 11:00 PMThe East Haven-Old Lyme-Old Saybrook-East Hampton-Morgan-Valley Regional ice hockey team won its lone game last week to improve to 6-6-1 this year. The Yellowjackets traveled to Milford Ice Pavilion on Jan. 26 and earned a 4-3 win versus the Milford co-op squad to get back to the .500 mark.
Junior goalie Logan Hamilton made 24 saves for the Easties, who saw four different skaters find the back of the net against Milford. Sophomore Dave Amatruda had a goal and an assist, while fellow East Haven sophomore Rocco Plano, Old Saybrook sophomore Cory Benni, and Valley Regional senior Ricky Persico scored one goal apiece. Morgan sophomore Ryan Egan added an assist in the victory.
