Four Warriors Sign On to Compete in College


Four Valley Regional seniors signed to continue their athletic careers in college. The Valley Regional High School athletic department recently held a ceremony at which several Warriors’ athletes signed a National Letter of Intent to play sports at the collegiate level. The students were honored for their commitment to continuing their careers at their respective colleges when the ceremony took place on Nov. 27. The athletes who signed their letters at the ceremony were Michael Dilger, Tessa LeMay, Josh Ross, and Allie Ruel. Dilger has committed to play for the Division III men’s soccer team at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. LeMay signed on to compete for the Division I women’s crew at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island. Ross has committed to play for the Division III baseball squad at Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts; and Ruel will play Division I women’s lacrosse at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
