Madison Youth Cheer Turns in Stellar Showing at Solid Ground Stunt Camp

The Madison Youth Cheerleading program had a successful 2018 season that saw its competition cheer team compete at the Universal Cheerleading Association’s (UCA) Solid Ground Stunt Camp that took place at Westfield State University in Westfield, Massachusetts. Madison’s competition cheer team turned in an extremely successful showing during its four days at camp. The team was awarded first place in both the cheer and dance categories for its division. Madison also received a total of eight ribbons for excellence, as well as the 2018 Superior Trophy for the Youth Division.

The members of the youth competition cheer team are co-captains Reagan Kilduff and Reegan O’Dea, along with Olivia Consiglio, Emily Couto, Lucille Cummings, Elisabeth Davern, Emma Demetrio, Colby Earle, Lillian Flaherty, Gianna Foligno, Juliana Jorens, Alainna McDowall, Sloan Miller, Allison Mulhern, Julianna Picard, and Mia Scott. Neala O’Dea and Alessandra Picard also lent a hand to the team as mascots at the camp, helping to make the experience a successful one for Madison squad. The team is coached by Michelle O’Dea and Lindsay Smith.

Additionally, youth competition cheerleader Reegan O’Dea was presented with the honor of being named a UCA All-American Cheerleader for the third consecutive year. O’Dea also earned an invitation to the JV All-American Thanksgiving Tour to perform in the Philadelphia Parade.
