Madison U-10 Girls’ Lacrosse Gets the Gold at Nutmeg Games


The Madison U-10 girls’ lacrosse team won the gold medal at the Nutmeg State Games. The Madison U-10 girls’ lacrosse team won the gold medal at the Nutmeg State Games at Veterans Memorial Stadium in New Britain on Aug. 4. The morning warm-ups were delayed and cut short by a heavy downpour, but the Madison Junior Tigers remained unfazed and finished with an undefeated record of 4-0-0 record in the tournament to claim the gold.

The members of Madison’s team are Ava Bonalsky, Ellie Flynn, Maggie Lavin, Claire Levis, Sophia Lind, Claire McGuinness, Neila Paradiso, Allison Peterson, Claire Rickelman, Victoria Rioux, Faye Staschke, Kayla Warnke, Maisy Wheeler, and Natalie Yuh. The team’s coaches are Len Bonalsky, Martina Lind, Jeff McGuinness, Hannah Morgan, and Holly Wheeler.
