The Guilford Senior American Legion baseball team has an overall record of 9-3 and sits in second place in the Zone 3 standings after splitting four contests last week.

Post 48 started the week by recording 12-2 rout over East Haddam at home on June 19. Gray Stephens and James Walker pitched for Guilford in the game, which was called after five innings due to the mercy rule. The next day, Guilford defeated East Haddam by the final score of 5-1. Kevin Cargos, Kevin Ciardiello, and Noah Rubino toed the rubber for Post 48 in that victory.

Guilford then faced Cheshire for a doubleheader on June 23 and took a pair of defeats, losing by final scores of 14-4 and 11-2.
