Shoreline Golf Society Holds President’s Cup


The Shoreline Golf Society (SGS) convened for its first major of the season with The President’s Cup on May 5. The Shoreline Golf Society (SGS) recently held its first major tournament of the year, The President’s Cup, at The Golf Course at Yale. Parker Sulkowski of Guilford shot an impressive gross score of 73 with a net score of 67 to win the cup. New member Jim Joseph from Milford came in second place with a net score of 72.

A skins competition also took place at the event. Michael Belden of Guilford led the way with three gross skins. Mike Dore of Westbrook and Charles Lugovich of West Haven had two apiece, while Shane Ericson of Naugatuck had one. Belden had the most net skins with two, plus Ericson, Joseph, and Lugovich each had one. Dinner and the presentation of the cup followed the tournament.
