Hand Boys’ Track Sends Six Athletes to State Steeplechase

The Hand boys’ outdoor track team had plenty of representation at the CIAC 2,000-Meter Steeplechase that was held on June 13 at Manchester High School. Six Tigers hit the course to compete in the steeplechase event. Dante Zucconi finished in 18th place a time of 7 minutes and 6.40 seconds to lead Hand. Connor Parthasarthy finished in 29th place with a time of 7:20.22, Sam Hauser finished 36th (7:29.96), Corey Duncanson placed 54th (7:55.88), Dan Kim came in 64th place (8:19.59), and Isaac Lerner finished in 66th place (8:31.45) on behalf of the Tigers.
