04/19/2018 12:00 AMThe Hand baseball team recently held a preseason pasta dinner that was donated by Dave Donahue from Donahue’s of Madison prior to the team’s season opener against East Haven on March 31. In 2017, the Tigers posted a regular-season record of 13-7 and qualified for both the SCC and Class L State tournaments. Thus far this year, Hand has a record of XXX.
The team members that attended the dinner included coaches Travis LaPointe, Bill Daunais, Kyle Heins, Nicholas Merullo, Justin Kaeser, and Martin Magzag; seniors Christian Bray,James DeGrasse, Cam Fitzgerald, Paul Gagliardi, Chris Hartmann, Tom Hobin, Graeme McGiven, Spencer Oliver, Will Reiner, Kyle Schaefer, and Eddie Sweeney; juniors Julian Banerji, Chris Bartosic, Luke Brucher, Ian Butler, Brad Cosgriff, Jake Crawford, Kevin Girardi, Evan Jasek, Will Kleinhenz, Zach Matkin, Caleb Powell, Jake Salutari, and Kevin Tracy; sophomores George Anastasio, Phoenix Billings, Mikey Catalano, Austin Doyle, Tucker Godiksen, Jared Kuryan, Ken Nuzzi, Aiden Patrick, and Liam Wallace; and freshmen James Arida, Matt Carone, Eli Davies, Ant DePino, Nick Donofrio, Chris Englehart, Michael Englehart, Joe Jasek, Jackson Kuja, Rocky Mayer, Rob Patterson, Jackson Pireaux, Giovanni Roman, Colin Telford, and Danny Weinstein.
