Schlottman Breaks East Haven Girls’ Hoops Record for Career Points Scored

Yellowjackets’ senior Kylie Schlottman has broken the East Haven girls’ basketball team’s school record for points scored in a career. Scholottman scored 21 points when the Easties prevailed at Wilbur Cross 59-43 on Jan. 16 to break Sue Crisafi’s school record, which was 1,418 points. Schlottman now has 1,432 career points for East Haven, which improved to 11-1 with its win against Cross. She made six field goals and nine free throws in the victory, breaking the record on a free throw in the second quarter.

McKenzie Helms scored 14 points, Isabella Ragaini and Jess Stettinger both had seven points, Alexis Pendizwater scored five, and Marley Herard added four points for Head Coach Anthony Russell’s squad in its win over the Governors.
