01/05/2018 11:00 PMThe Guilford Indians’ 4th-grade Youth Football team took home the title of bowl champions by posting a 31-6 victory against the Southington Blue Knights in a Shoreline Youth Football Conference contest at Southington High School on Nov. 11. The athletes who led Guilford to the title were Brody Root, Blake Brysh, Alex Tafro, Devin Ridley, Calder Hutchison, Aidan Connelly, Lucio Nastri, Logan Plancon, Ari Kroop, Kelley Webster, Aiden Ruotolo, Gum Malek, Ryan Kennedy, Brayden Matthias, Zack Uzzo, Robbie Scott, Faelan Romano, Andrew Plancon, Liam Nargi, Alex Uzzo, Wyatt Morgan-Berry, Sam Martocci, Wesley Tandler, Casey White, and Cael Grieder. Jon Root was the head coach of the team, and the assistant coaches were TR Brysh, Matt Plancon, Bob Swan, Chris Uzzo, and Joe White.
