Connecticut Rush Boys’ Soccer Squad Sees Excellent Season


The Connecticut Rush Shoreline 06 boys’ soccer team had a great year that saw the team finish ranked fourth out of 131 teams in the state for its age group. The Connecticut Rush Shoreline 06 boys’ soccer team recently finished its fall season with a record of 7-1. The squad, which featured several local athletes, won first place in the Top Division of the Connecticut Club Soccer League’s Premier league and finished the season ranked fourth in Connecticut out of 131 teams in its age group.

The team was coached by Lloyd Warren and Callum Mcintosh. The athletes who led the Rush to their great campaign were Guilford residents Nicholas Takoudes, Ian Campaigne, Pierce Pappert, and Ryan Melillo; Old Saybrook residents Braeden Hagelston, Kevin DeCapua, Benjamin Freeburg, Brayden Cody, Anthony Pascale, and Rylan Murphy; Norwich resident Louis Hawkins III; East Lyme resident AJ Montejano IV; and New London’s Jose Pacheco.
