Local Athletes from Mercy Sign National Letters of Intent

On Nov. 9, four local athletes who attend Mercy High School in Middletown, including Old Saybrook’s Samantha Chapps and Mariana Terenzio from Killingworth, signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Chapps will play Division II basketball at Southern New Hampshire University, and Terenzio will play Division II lacrosse at Notre Dame College in Ohio. Additionally, Mercy student Adriana Kandro of Portland signed her Letter of Intent to run track for Division I Holy Cross in Massachusetts, while Isabella Santoro signed to play Division II basketball at Stonehill College, which is also in Massachusetts.
