Branford Youth Cheer Makes Donation to Smilow Cancer Hospital

The Branford Youth Cheerleading program recently donated $100 for breast cancer research to the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven. The teams in Branford’s league sold pink cheer bows to wear for breast cancer awareness during the month of October and then donated a portion of their proceeds to Smilow. The members of Branford’s team are Chelsea Barron, Louie Manzo, Sofia Manzo, Gianna Piscitelli, Devyn Rhodes, and Samantha Robinson. Judith Barron is the president of Branford Youth Cheerleading, and Janice Despotakis is its vice president.
