Knights’ Field Hockey Posts Two Shutouts to Close Regular Season; Boys’ Soccer Defeats Amistad

Field Hockey

The Westbrook field hockey team completed its regular season by playing two games last week. The Knights won one game and earned a tie in the other to put their record at 8-3-5 for the regular season.

On Oct. 26, the Knights had a game at Canton and prevailed 1-0 in overtime. Two days later, Westbrook headed to Granby Memorial for a match, and the teams played to a 0-0 tie.

Boys' Soccer

The Knights finished their season with a split of two games last week to for a mark of 5-11 on the year.

On Oct. 23, Westbrook scored a 2-0 victory at Amistad. Two days later, the Knights faced Whitney Tech and lost a 4-2 decision.
