The Madison Youth Football and Cheer (MYFC) organization thanks all of the players and families who generously donated various items of need in support of hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Players and parents from the MYFC recently held a donation drive at the Surf Club. With the results of all the donations, the MYFC loaded five trucks with supplies and delivered them to a congregation in New Haven. A group of the players and parents then helped to arrange and sort the items for pickup. The supplies were subsequently placed on pallets and trucked to the airport for delivery to Puerto Rico. The members of the congregation were extremely grateful for the community support, and the athletes and their families gained greater insight into the relief effort, as well as the significant struggles faced by their fellow Americans.
