She received a nice ball at the top of the 18-yard box, spun off the defender, and penetrated to goal to give us a 1-0 lead,” said Head Coach David Dikranian. “Chloe was strong throughout the game, adding an assist in the second half when she dribbled from the outside to play the ball into the box, where Taylor Scully was able to hit a nice ball into the far corner.”

Facing Lauralton Hall, Scully had two scores and Egidio added the other. Assists came from Hannah Martin, Scully, and Cohen. Hand won the shots-on-goal battle 15-4, with Lipford making three saves.

“We played extremely well for most of the game. We had a couple of letdowns late in the second half, but overall, it was a great performance by our entire team,” said Dikranian. “I was telling Gabby Egidio the other day that she’s going to break out and score a big goal for us. She ended up scoring the second goal, which was a huge goal for us and put us in control.”
