Agamie Places 1st in Board Breaking at USA Taekwondo National Championship

Emilie Agamie, a 6th-grade student at Saint Mary School of Branford, recently competed at the USA Taekwondo National Championship and came away with a first-place finish and a second-place finish. Agamie won first place nationally for board breaking and also took second nationally for form in the Red Belt Youth Female 10-11 category at the Taekwondo National Championship, which was held in Michigan.

Saint Mary School offers a Taekwondo club to its students. Master Han of Branford’s World Champion Taekwondo teaches the martial art as an extracurricular sports activity to the members of the club at the school.
