North Haven U-10 Travel Softball Plays with Pride


The North Haven Pride lived up to their name this summer by playing their way to a campaign that everyone involved can feel proud about. The North Haven Pride U-10 travel softball team recently completed an outstanding season that featured a regular season title, as well as a strong showing in a postseason tournament.

First, North Haven won the regular season championship in the Connecticut Valley Fastpitch League (CVFL) by notching a record of 10-2. After that, the Pride competed in the CVFL Tournament and finished as the runner-up.

The athletes who led North Haven to its excellent season were Alexandra Anquillare, Avery Berney, Gabriella Blanchard, Isabella Blanchard, Anika Burr, Ava Carlson, Lucia Cavaliere, Alyssa DiGiovanna, Alyssa Ferriouolo, Amalia Morizio, Maya Redman, and Laney Smith. The Pride were coached by Mike Anquillare, Billy Ferriouolo, Lawrence Morizio, and Tony Tomassi.
