07/29/2017 12:00 AMThe Shoreline Golf Society (SGS) recently held its 2017 Member/Guest Tournament at Timberlin Golf Course. Following a beautiful day that featured some friendly competition, the participants enjoyed dinner, as well as awards that went to the best gross and net team. The winning gross team, with its score of 11 over par, included John Carbone (Plantsville), James Winters (Cheshire), Clifford Schrock (Stratford), and Scott Addison (Stamford). The winning net team with a score of 26 under par included Carl Boland (Deep River), Jack Bission (New Haven), John McGirr (Ivoryton), and Eric Lieberman (Essex). The SGS thanks member John Carbone for organizing this event.
