Madison Athletic Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2017

The Madison Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the members of its Class of 2017, who will be inducted in a ceremony that will take place on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. at the Madison Beach Hotel. This year’s inductees will also be honored on Friday, Oct. 6 at halftime of the Hand football team’s home game at the Surf Club. The Madison Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2017 consists of Fazio “Faz” Bagnoli, who is being honored posthumously as an exemplary contributor and coach in the Madison Youth Football program; along with Meghan Bushnell, a 2003 Hand graduate who played lacrosse and field hockey at the school; as well as Greg Curtin (Class of 1979, lacrosse, football); Caitlin Eichler (Class of 2002, softball, volleyball); Ray Ezell (coach, softball, boys’ basketball); Charlie Gebauer (exemplary contributor, Madison Little League and Chain Gang Football); Sean Krygier (Class of 2003, ice hockey, lacrosse, football); Peter Sakalowsky (Class of 1989, cross country, track); and Brett Scholnick (Class of 2002, wrestling).
