The Clinton Huskies baseball team played four games in the East Shore Travel League last week and won two of them, while also earning a tie to go with a defeat. The team now has a record of 12-3-1 on the season.

On July 20, the Huskies faced off against the first-place New England Knights in a doubleheader at the Indian River Complex. Clinton won the first game 7-3 and then took a 4-1 defeat in the nightcap.

Two days later, the Huskies hosted another doubleheader at Indian River, this time against the Technique Tigers. The first game ended in a 5-5 tie, and the second game saw the Huskies narrowly edge the Tigers by the final score of 5-4.

Clinton is hosting Tucci for a doubleheader that begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 27 at the Indian River Complex.
