Lovelace Places 9th as T-Birds Hit the Links at Division IV Championship

The North Branford golf team competed at the Division IV State Championship at Crestbrook Park in Watertown on June 5 and finished in 10th place by posting a collective score of 360.

John Lovelace turned in the Thunderbirds’ best performance by taking ninth place with a score of 81 for his 18-hole round on the par-71 course. Paul Zumbo finished 32nd with an 86, Jacob Neubig placed 58th by shooting a 95, and Christian Defrancesco came in 66th place with a score of 98 for North Branford.
