04/14/2017 12:00 AMTwins Anthony and Robert Cofrancesco recently received one of the highest honors from Sal Tinari Biddy Basketball at the league’s annual awards banquet at East Haven High School on March 29, when both athletes were presented with the Sportsmanship Award. The award is given to a player who is displays great fairness and generous treatment of others during games. The league’s board recognized that the Cofrancesco twins always made sure to shake hands and talk to every player on the opposing team, as well as the coach, and wish them good luck and a good game. This marks the first time in league history that the Sportsmanship Award was presented to twins.
