The East Haven Squirt B ice hockey team recently finished a great season in which it was the runner-up for the state championship. The team displayed great heart and determination on its way to reaching the state title game. The athletes on East Haven’s team were John D’Albero, Chase DeFilippo, Billy Demetriades, Belle Desrosiers, Leo Ferranti, Cameron LaCroix, Sarah Johnson, Nick Perilo, TJ Reddington, Dilan Robert, Josh Salvati, Robert Testa, Joey Vocatura, and Cheyene Wilson. Bill Demetriades was East Haven’s head coach and the team’s assistant coaches were Joe D’Albero, Tom LaCroix, and Alan Robert. East Haven High School hockey players Ryan Albert, Joe Consiglio, Mani Finoia, and Logan Hamilton also helped out the squad this year. The team also thanks Mason LaCroix for doing an excellent job as East Haven’s water boy this season.
