Morgan Cheerleading Takes 10th at States; Smith Competes at Gymnastics State Open

The Morgan cheerleading squad hit the floor for the Class S State Championship on March 3 at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. The Huskies recorded a team score of 112.40 points and finished in 10th place at the meet.

Gymnastics

Haley Smith competed on behalf of the Haddam-Killingworth/Morgan/Hale-Ray gymnastics team at the State Championship at New Milford High School on March 4. Smith, a junior at Morgan, competed in the vault and finished in a tie for 37th place by recording a score of 8.3.
