2016 North Haven High School graduate Jeremy Imperati signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Fordham University in New York City. Imperati signed on Feb. 1, which was National Football Signing Day.

As a tight end/defensive lineman, Imperati was an All-Conference, All-State, All-Area, Levi Jackson, and Walter Camp selection for North Haven in his senior year of 2015, helping the Indians reach the Class L state championship game. He was also chosen as a member of the Second Team for the USA Today Team. Imperati is currently doing a postgraduate year at Cheshire Academy, for which he was an All-New England First Team selection last fall. He will start attending Fordham in the fall of 2017. Fordham’s football team competes in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision level.
