After starting the season with a win, the Old Saybrook boys’ basketball team has lost its last three games, including a pair of defeats in the Shoreline Conference/Eastern Connecticut Conference Challenge at Fitch High School last week.

Prior to that tournament, the Rams lost their first game of the season to Haddam-Killingworth by a 64-57 score on Dec. 20. H-K took an eight-point lead after one quarter and Old Saybrook was unable to comeback. Connell Henderson scored a game-high 20 points and Shane Henderson added 17 for the Rams. Other offensive contributions came from Jake Tully, who scored 10 points; and Victor Pascoe, who netted eight.

On Dec. 27, Old Saybrook lost in the semifinals of the Shoreline/ECC Challenge to conference foe Valley Regional, 66-59. The Rams had the lead entering the final frame, but allowed 27 fourth quarter points to the Warriors. Henderson scored 26 points, while Tully scored 13 and Shane Henderson added 12.

The next night, the Rams lost the consolation game to Fitch by a 67-55 final to drop to 1-3 overall.
