Morgan Girls’ Hoops Loses to Cromwell, H-K in Opening Week

The Morgan girls’ basketball team lost its season opener on the road, 71-24, against Cromwell on Dec. 13. Sydney Chomicz poured in a game-high 19 points for the Huskies, who later took a 43-31 road loss to Haddam-Killingworth on Dec. 16.

The Huskies are led by first-year Head Coach Caitlin Woods. Morgan finished at 21-5 overall on the campaign last year and reached the Shoreline Tournament final, plus the Class M State Tournament quarterfinals, losing to Cromwell in both games.
