HK Youth Cheer Squad Takes First at State Competition

The Haddam Killingworth Youth Football Cheer C team recently captured first place in the State Cheer Competition on Nov. 19. The victory came one week after the team had placed third in the Northern Connecticut Football League Cheer Competition on Nov. 12. HK’s head coaches were Joyce Waterbury and Julie Rowell, who were assisted by Crystal Stephens and Samantha Briggs.
