Old Lyme-Valley Represents at Class M Girls’ Swim Meet

Two athletes scored points on behalf of Old Lyme-Valley Regional girls’ swimming and diving at the Class M State Championship meet at Wesleyan University on Nov. 15.

Kim Berardis, a sophomore at Valley, swam a time of 1:08.44 to take 21st place in the 100-yard backstroke. Lily Cox, a sophomore at Old Lyme, finished 11th in the 500 freestyle (5:36.05) and was 13th for the 200 freestyle at 2:05.72. The performances of Cox and Berardis resulted in 34 points for Old Lyme-Valley, which finished tied for 21st place with Bunnell.
