All-Shoreline Conference Field Hockey Teams Announced

The Shoreline Conference recently named the athletes who earned All-Conference First Team and Second Team honors for the 2016 season.

Every athlete that made the First Team is in her senior year, including the Shoreline Conference Player of the Year, who is forward Alexa Mulvihill from Westbrook. Joining Mulvihill on the First Team are her Knights’ teammates Zoe Ehlert, a back; and Lauren Kane, a midfielder. The other First Team honorees are Haddam-Killingworth’s Rachel Seneshal (back), Julia Kostek (midfielder), and Brinley Anderson (utility); Valley Regional’s Maria Pittsinger (back) and Francesca Daniels (forward), and North Branford’s Mackenzie Kaiser (goalkeeper), Sydney Hogan (forward), and Stephanie Seymour (midfielder).

The athletes who made the All-Shoreline Conference Second Team this year are Westbrook’s Cassie Vitti (senior back), Biance Ferrucci (senior forward), and Lauren Wright (junior goalie); Haddam-Killingworth’s Celia Payfa (junior forward) and Bella Cosenza (junior utility player), Valley Regional’s Emily Peterson (junior midfielder), North Branford’s Emmy Norton (junior forward) and Danielle Ramada (junior back), Old Saybrook’s Rosie Rothman (senior back), Mandy Beck (sophomore midfielder), and Aubrey Efinger (senior utility player), and Morgan’s Aubry Allen (senior midfielder).
