Old Saybrook Boys’ Soccer Improves to 4-0-1; Girls’ Soccer Ties Cromwell

Boys’ Soccer

The Rams’ boys’ soccer squad remained undefeated this season by playing to a 0-0 tie with Valley Regional and posting a 3-1 win over Cromwell last week.

On Sept. 20, Jonah Nucci made two saves in net for the shutout as Old Saybrook and Valley battled to a scoreless draw.

Two days later, the Rams went on the road to defeat Cromwell and improve to 4-0-1.

Girls’ Soccer

Old Saybrook took its first loss of the season last week with a 2-0 defeat at Valley Regional on Sept. 20. The Rams later picked up a point by earning a 1-1 tie versus Cromwell on Sept. 22 to move to 2-1-2 for the season.

Field Hockey

The Rams took a pair of Shoreline Conference defeats last week. On Sept. 21, Old Saybrook was defeated by Valley Regional, 4-1. Then on Sept. 23, the Rams lost a 3-2 contest to North Branford.
