Branford Baseball Club Makes a Great Run in Cooperstown Tourney

The Branford Baseball Club Cooperstown team recently spent a week competing in a tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Cooperstown, New York and saw a great deal of success. The squad was comprised of 12-year-old All-Stars from Branford Little League. After taking a few early losses, Branford went on a nice run in the 104-team tournament, winning three games in a row against higher-ranked clubs before losing to the 19th-ranked team. Branford’s team consisted of Nate Criscuolo, Daniel Cruz, Mayson Greenberg, Brennan Hynes, Matt LaCroix, Sam Madelung, Rob Miller, Michael Nelson, Pete O’Leary, Ethan Piazza, Sam Smith, and Dominic Viscuso. The squad was coached by Ben LaCroix, Dave LaCroix, and Tom Madelung.
