08/18/2016 12:00 AMThe Valley Shore YMCA Marlins will be holding tryouts for new swimmers on Wednesday, Sept. 7 and Thursday, Sept. 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the YMCA pool in Westbrook. Boys and girls from the ages of 8 to 18 are eligible to attend this session. In addition to teaching competitive swimming skills, the Marlins also teach children about self-discipline, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
