Branford Prep Legion Finishes with 10 Victories

The Branford Prep Legion baseball team completed the 2016 season by notching a win versus West Haven via forfeit last week. The game was slated to be played in West Haven on July 22 and went in the books as a 7-0 victory for Post 83. Branford finished with a record of 7-11 in the Central Division this summer to place seventh out of 10 teams and came up just one place shy of qualifying for the State Tournament. Post 83 was 10-13 overall in its first season with Head Coach Bruno Castaldi.
