06/23/2016 12:00 AMMadison resident Luke Watkins, an 8th-grade graduate of Polson Middle School and freshman at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, has been named as a 2016 Brine National All-Star and also been selected to represent the state of Connecticut at the 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Academy and Brine National Lacrosse Classic to be held in Richmond, Virginia from Wednesday, July 19 to Saturday, July 22.
The Brine National Lacrosse Academy brings the top youth lacrosse players in the nation to one venue, where regional teams, coached by NCAA lacrosse coaches, compete to become the 2016 national champion. For more info, visit www.nationallacrosseclassic.com.
