North Haven Boys’ Lacrosse Drops Opener to Southington, 5-3

Zach Orth and the North Haven boys’ lacrosse team dropped a 5-3 decision to Southington in their first game of the year.

The North Haven boys' lacrosse team took a 5-3 defeat at non-conference opponent Southington in its opening contest of the season on April 2. The Indians outshot Southington 24-20 and Head Coach Eric Bailey said his squad had chances to score more in the game, but couldn't finish enough of them to come away with the win. Korbin Pecora, Christian DeRubeis, and Zach Orth netted the goals for North Haven.

The Indians are coming off a campaign in which they went 15-4, qualified for the SCC Tournament, and then reached the quarterfinals of the Class M State Tournament.
