Guilford used a tenacious 3-2 zone to hold Hillhouse under 30 points in the victory. Meredith Shank led the way with 13 points and five steals. Amanda King came off the bench to tally a dozen points and center Cam Craig hauled down eight rebounds and made four steals.

Then Guilford hosted Law for Senior Night as the Indians honored seniors Isabelle Risse and sibling captains Sam and Meredith Shank. The Indians trailed 33-30 after three quarters, but an explosive fourth quarter, 23-point attack gave Guilford the victory. Craig paced the Indians with a season-high 15 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks.

“She was a monster on both ends of the court and her play over the course of the last month has elevated the team’s style of play,” said Head Coach Bob Welsh. “Cameron has become more of a force, aggressively going to the boards and rebounding with a renewed passion. Defensively, she creates problems for opponents who often have to alter their shots because of her ability to block shots in the lane.”
