Lyman Hall/HK/Coginchaug Hockey Takes Down Three Teams


Zach O'Toole made a combined 40 saves in two wins versus Milford and Barlow for the Lyman Hall/HK/Coginchaug ice hockey squad.

The Lyman Hall/Haddam-Killingworth/Coginchaug ice hockey team defeated Milford 9-3 on Jan. 25 before an 8-4 victory over Barlow two days later. The Trojans then ended the week with a record of 7-3-2 following a 4-0 blanking of Sheehan on Jan. 30.

Against Milford, Hunter Boileau led the effort with four goals and two assists; Scott Bradley added two scores and a helper; Connor Satton, Chris Blanchard, and Esau VanHouten each had a goal; and Kyle Roberts also assisted on a pair of goals. Zach O’Toole made 19 saves as the Trojans outshot the Indians 28-22.

Facing Barlow, Blanchard had two goals, while Jack O’Brien, Satton, Jared Sullivan, Markus Trahan, Bradley, and Boileau each netted a goal. O Brien also had four assists, plus O’Toole made 21 stops.

Boileau had a pair of goals versus Sheehan, while Bradley and O’Brien notched a score apiece. O’Brien and Travis Watrous also assisted on tallies.
