East Haven Girls’ Soccer Holds Car Wash, Gets Ready for Alumni Game

The East Haven High School girls’ soccer team held its annual car wash fundraiser at the town hall on July 25. The Yellowjackets, in conjunction with East Haven Youth Soccer, will next host the second annual Girls’ Soccer Alumni Game on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the high school at 7 p.m. The proceeds from the game will benefit the families of four of the program's former players whose mothers suffered a stroke, in addition to the National Stroke Association. Donation jars will be available at the game, which is open to all athletes who have competed for the East Haven girls' soccer team.
