Lerman Signs to Compete for Quinnipiac’s Acrobatics & Tumbling Team

Branford Hornets’ gymnastics superstar Cynthia Lerman recently signed her National Letter of Intent to compete for the acrobatics & tumbling team at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. The signing took place on May 1 at JAG Gymnastics in Wallingford, at which Lerman has been a member for several years.

In her recent senior season with the Hornets, Lerman was named an Elite All-American and also earned All-SCC accolades for the fourth-consecutive year. She also competed at the State Open and finished 11th all-around with a score of 35.7 that was bolstered by her fifth-place finish with a 9.35 on vault. Lerman’s vault performance qualified her to compete in the event at the New England Championship, where she was 11th with a 9.275. Lerman also recently completed her career as a member of the Branford softball team.
