HK Alum Burger Blasts Two Homers for DI Bryant

Haddam-Killingworth softball alum and Class of 2013 graduate Taylor Burger went 4-for-8 with two home runs between Feb. 20 and 22 in the Bryant Bulldogs' softball squad's first series of the year. She was named to the Spartan Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Bryant exploded for a NCAA Division I record-tying 10 homers, including a DI record seven in the bottom of the third, to take down University of Maryland Eastern Shore 19-6 in the Bulldogs' first game before fighting off USC Upstate 3-2 in Game 2 at the Spartan Invitational.
