Morgan hosted Cromwell on Feb. 16 and grabbed a 45-42 victory before a 57-42 win at Notre Dame-Fairfield on Feb. 18 to finish the regular season a perfect 20-0-the first time a Huskies' squad has achieved the feat.

Against Cromwell, Sami Ashton led with 20 points while Tori Hopkins scored 13. Josie Sullivan added nine rebounds and four assists.

At Notre Dame, Ashton again led all of Morgan's scorers with 19 points while adding six assists and three steals. Jen Dawson finished on the verge of a double-double with 16 points and nine boards; plus Sullivan dropped seven points, eight rebounds, dished out two assists, snagged three steals, and had a block. Kelsey Donaldson also reeled in 13 rebounds off the glass.

Morgan earned a first round bye in the Shoreline Conference Tournament as the top seed. It faced either No. 4 East Hampton or No. 5 Coginchaug in a semifinal on Feb. 24 at Coginchaug and the winner of that clash will advance to the final on Friday, Feb. 28 at Cross at 7 p.m.

"I am proud of the way this team comes and plays hard every night. They come to practice every day with the mind set of we are going to get better and they work hard," said Head Coach Joe Grippo. "Going undefeated does little for us in Shorelines and states. Every team starts out 0-0 and you have to earn every win. We are looking forward to the challenges that await us."
