Ski Team Ups Itself to 10 Wins in Recent Meet

On Jan. 15, the Guilford ski team defeated St. Luke's mixed, the Hand boys, the Hopkins boys, Cheshire Academy, and the Litchfield boys' squad to finish fourth overall out of the 12 teams that raced to sit with a record of 10-9 (8-3 in divisional action).

The Indians had four varsity racers in the top 20 with Justin Clark (personal best time for this season of 25.25 to finish 5th); Peggy Wagner (9th, 25.94); Cami Makula (10th, 26.53); and Bryce Makula (16th, 27.99). Additionally, two skiiers in Jordan Genovese (21st, 28.19) and Lilly Young (22nd, 28.38) just missed a top 20 finish by less than three-tenths of a second each.
